Sports Markets and Bet Types

4.3/5

You can choose from roughly 30 different sports to bet on, including six different eSports, at Guts. Within each sport there’s a really impressive depth of leagues and matches from around the world. You’ll even find odds for the Turkey amateur soccer league and the Thailand PUBG Series.

Once you click on a sport, games are divided on a neat grid with the live games up top. The odds are clearly laid out and the wagers pop up on your bet slip with just one click. From there you can select parlay and system bets too. System bets range from trixies to goliaths with a maximum of eight legs.

Live in-game betting

Live matches are fun and easy to follow thanks to Guts’ animated visualizations. Every game also has a graph displaying progress as well as a list of neatly organized and presented stats. Live bets are on your left and all you have to do is click on them for your bet slip to pop up.

In our opinion, Guts has one of the cleanest software platforms available anywhere. The layout puts a focus on being able to see as many matches and odds as possible for whatever sport or league you’ve picked. It’s also easy to switch between decimal, fractional and American odds. You can adjust the live betting to accept all odds changes, accept higher odds, or ask for approval for every odds change. These details are a nice customizable touch that makes the whole interface feel even more user friendly.

Bonuses and Promotions

4.5/5

It depends on the country you’re in but usually Guts has a sign-up bonus that matches your deposit 100% up to a maximum of $100. This is a lot bigger than most sportsbooks, but it comes with a few caveats. The bonus doesn’t apply to players who deposit using Skrill, Skrill 1-Tap, Paysafe or NETELLER.

In order to cash out your bonus, the general rules say you have to wager it a minimum of 6x with odds of 2.0 or higher within 30 days of depositing. This can be a pretty high bar compared to other sportsbooks out there, but the reward is also higher than most. If you gamble big and often, then it shouldn’t be hard to satisfy.

Ongoing promotions

After the sign-up bonuses, Guts’ main promotion is its #ValueTown bets. In these, Guts offers special prices for interesting and unique bets across a bunch of different sports.

Some of these bets include, according to Guts, “red card to be given, over 3.5 goals and a header to be scored.” Another was for any coach to get sent to the stands and have their team still win. These bets are definitely an interesting twist to your standard bets and keep things fresh.

Banking

4.5/5

Making bets and winning money is definitely the flashiest part of the sports betting experience but reliable deposits and withdrawals are just as important. The sportsbook keep your funds separated from the company all according to the UK Gambling Commission. It also protects your account from any third-parties with SSL encryption.

Deposits and Withdrawals

Guts has all the most popular payment methods covered. You can use your credit or debit cards, NETELLER, SKRILL, Euteller, PaySafe, SOFORT and bank transfers. There are some other options depending on your country and currency preferences. Deposit minimums range for as little as $10 and deposit maximums range from $200 to $5,000. All your deposits are credited instantly, which is great when you want funds fast to jump on the latest bet or a game that’s already ongoing.

The minimum cashout is $10 and the maximum depends on which withdrawal method you’re using. In our experience, the good thing about Guts is that it has surprisingly speedy withdrawal times. Processing times can last less than a few hours and eWallets can get funds in under an hour. Bank transfers and credit or debit card withdrawals can show up in as little as a day.

Security and Fair Play

4.5/5

There are countless numbers of sportsbooks and online gaming sites out there and some can be less than reputable. So, in our reviews we always evaluate how safe, fair and secure sites are. After using Guts, evaluating its features and looking at other user experience, we’ve found Guts to be a secure and safe online gaming operator.

A key indicator of a good site is a gaming license and Guts is licensed and regulated by the Malta Gaming Authority and the UK Gaming Commission. Guts is based in Malta and have their address posted right on the site. All gaming funds are, as mentioned, kept in segregated accounts and Guts ensures that all data and communications are encrypted.

Customer service & responsible gambling

Guts proved to be incredibly speedy responding to the live chat and we found the agents to be helpful and friendly. You can also email Guts or even send a written letter to the address they provide on their site. For more basic issues, the site has a well laid out grid FAQ that can help with a lot of basic questions or problems.

Another sign of a responsible operator are responsible gaming features to help limit your gaming if you need to. The site has “Reality Check Reminder” that pops up every hour to tell you how long you’ve been playing and what your profit or losses are for that session. It’s also easy to set a bunch of different limits including deposit limits, loss limits and session limits. Raising or removing your limit also has a seven-day cool off period to help avoid any spur of the moment risks.

Mobile Betting

4/5

One of the best parts about using Guts is its bright and user-friendly interface. The designers at Guts have managed to apply the same features to the mobile site too. The big matches and easy-to-see odds are really clear and just like on the desktop site, it only takes one click to add them to your bet slip.

The live match visualizations also look sharp and detailed on mobile. All the same statistics are available by scrolling down and they’re evenly spaced giving enough room to see each stat. When your bet slip pops up it does take up most of the screen, but it’s easy to minimize so it’s a static bar at the bottom. We found that it’s easiest to keep the bet slip minimized if you’re going to do combo or system bets.

There’s also a static bar at the bottom that displays promotions, sports, rewards, search and more. While using the mobile site we found that this bar served pretty much every need we had. While we prefer a large screen that gives you more room to view all the stats and animations in live betting, the mobile version of Guts does a great job putting everything into a small package you can take anywhere.

Conclusion: No Guts, No Glory

4.5/5

The Guts website is simple, with quite an elegant layout (as elegant as it goes for sportsbooks). For us, the live sports betting options are one of the big highlights. Live matches have detailed animations that keep you up to date with everything that’s going on and there’s a very detailed list of stats to help you bet. Guts easily has one of the best live betting interfaces available. We also really like how well Guts works and looks on mobile.

While Guts doesn’t offer quite as many sports or betting options as some other sites, it definitely covers the things most sports bettors need.
