Unibet Casino review summary

Unibet was founded in Sweden all the way back in 1997, and today operates in three continents: it has locations widely across Europe, in Australia and now in the US. Currently you can play at Unibet Casino in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, while the Unibet sportsbook is also available in Virginia. That list is only likely to grow as the casino becomes more established in the US states.

Unibet’s casino platform has a lot of things going for it. There’s a good range of games, including hundreds of slots and live dealer games, and loads of interesting promotions - which even include real life prizes like concerts. Our Unibet review goes deep on all of that and much more: including banking, security, and mobile gaming.

Software and range of games

4.5/5

Anyone who has ever visited Unibet will be familiar with it’s green and white design. The menu is nice and easy to sort through with casino games neatly split up into different categories. You can also use a search bar and toggle the display from icon to list format. There are quick links to other parts of the site at the top of the page, including to the sportsbook which you’ll also get access to when you sign up.

The range of games is good, with almost 500 different slots on the menu. There are also plenty of table games, loads of jackpot games and great live dealer options too.

Slots

The majority of the games at Unibet are slots, and there are a lot to choose from. Unibet uses games from a number of different providers, with high profile names like NetEnt on their books. They include titles like Gonzo’s Quest, Starburst and Cleopatra Gold.

With such a wide range of options, you won’t be surprised to learn that there is a huge variety in terms of theme and format. You can have a lot of fun just exploring all the different types of games here, from old school Vegas style slot machines to original 3D slots, with bonus games and cool animation. All the games we played worked perfectly, with vibrant colors and crisp graphics.

There’s also a special section for jackpot games, with an impressive 50 different games with jackpots attached.

Table Games

The table games on offer are good too. Blackjack and roulette are the most well represented, with multiple varieties of each one available. There’s also baccarat, fun games like Monopoly and Casino War and lots of different types of video poker.

If you’re looking for more obscure table games, you might not find them here. At the moment, there are no keno, sic bo, craps or bingo games. In general terms however, there’s more than enough to keep most people engaged.

Live Casino

The live dealer options at Unibet are great, with 16 different tables active during our review. They include multiple blackjack tables as well as roulette, baccarat, three card poker and fun variations like lightning roulette. There’s a wide range of limits available too, including high roller tables.

The live software at Unibet works really well. We only have positive things to say about the dealers themselves, and the combination of the live feeds and the digital betting interface is seamless.

Bonuses and promotions

4.8/5

The promos section is where Unibet really comes into its own. There are a lot of great opportunities here, for both brand-new and existing players. Let’s start with the welcome bonus.

New players in PA can claim a 100% deposit bonus worth up to $1,000, plus 10 bonus spins on Jin Ji Bao Xi: Endless Treasures. These are great offers. It’s common to receive a 100% deposit boost as a new player, but the addition of complimentary bonus spins is impressive. It's worth noting the bonus spins can also be claimed by existing customers at Unibet Casino PA.

Meanwhile, in NJ, you can claim a 50% deposit match up to $1,000. There's no bonus spins bonus available here, but this is still a great opportunity to increase your bankroll.

Unibet promos really come through in other areas too. There’s a game of the week, on which you can claim 20 bonus spins each week, and a weekly bonus for playing in the live casino too. There are also various sportsbook promos to check out.

Maybe best of all though is the chance to win tickets to real-life concerts, like Dua Lipa live in New Jersey. You need to gamble a certain amount on a selected game and you’ll get entered into a draw for tickets. In case you didn’t know, this is not your typical online casino promo. We love it.

Banking options

4.5/5

Unibet is very well stocked with different payment methods, and each one worked perfectly during our tests. For deposits, you can use credit cards, PayPal, Play+, PayNearMe, VIP Preferred, or bank transfer. Unibet directs you to withdraw via the same method you used to deposit, if applicable.

There are no fees charged for either deposits or withdrawals from the casino, although depending on the method there may be fees charged along the way elsewhere. Withdrawals are pretty quick in general, with PayPal transfers coming through within 24 hours during our review.

You can also make instant deposits and withdrawals via cash at the casino cage at one of Unibet’s partners, like the Hard Rock Casino in Atlantic City.

Security and fair play

4.5/5

Unibet Casino is available in two states - PA and NJ - and in both the online casino has received valid gaming licenses from the requisite regulatory bodies. All transactions on the site are protected, and the games hosted at Unibet are independently monitored for fairness, to ensure they are truly random. Unibet uses Trustwave SSL encryption to protect player data, and ensure it never gets sent to third parties. All in all, security at Unibet is more than robust.

Unibet’s support section provides a good base for customer support. There are lots of articles explaining how the site works, plus a live chat box. Live support is not 24/7, but you can leave a message if no agents are available and get a reply via email.

Mobile casino

4.5/5

Unibet has mobile apps for both Apple and Android devices, which can be found at the App Store and Google Play Store respectively. The app gives you access to both the casino and sportsbook in one, which is handy.

We tested out the app on a variety of devices for our Unibet mobile review, and we were very happy with the functionality every time. You get basically the exact same options using the app as you do on the desktop site, and the convenience of having access to everything in your pocket 24/7 can’t really be beat. The games looked great on mobile too, including the live dealer games.

Conclusion

4.5/5

As you’ll have gathered, we were very impressed with Unibet Casino. The range of games is excellent, especially the live dealer options. There were only a handful of table games missing compared with the other top casino sites available in the US. We like the software, including the app, and have no complaints with banking or security.

The best part however has to be the promos on offer. A 100% deposit match AND bonus spins, if you're in PA, is a great pair of welcome bonuses, and we love the range of on-running promos for existing members. It’s certainly not every day your online casino lets you win tickets to real concerts either.
